Itinerary
Arrive at the Pont Drift Border Post and cross into Botswana to reach Mashatu Game Reserve. After a warm welcome and orientation, head out for your first afternoon game drive, cameras ready for elephants, lions, and leopards. Enjoy sundowners and a fireside dinner beneath a starlit sky.
Spend your days exploring the reserve on morning and afternoon game drives through diverse habitats — open plains, riverine forests, and rocky outcrops. Between drives, relax at the lodge, photograph wildlife at the waterhole, or unwind by the pool. Afternoon drives often extend into the night, offering opportunities to capture the transition from golden light to spotlight illumination — a photographer’s dream in the Land of the Giants. Evenings conclude with warm fireside gatherings and dinners beneath a canopy of stars.
Head out on your final morning safari, capturing the early light and last sightings of the Land of the Giants. Return to camp for breakfast before transferring back to the Pont Drift Border Post for your onward journey.
