Kwando Tigerfishing Safari
The four night Kwando Tigerfishing Safari in Western Zambia offers fishermen a rare opportunity–to fish in new and unchartered waters. The river, which forms the border between Angola and Zambia, offers great fishing with lures and fly as the wild waters ensure constant action. This means that bait fishermen and trolling anglers will have to adjust their techniques and experiment to catch the various species present which boast large bream as well as feisty tigerfish.
Each day is designed for guests to get the most out of their fishing safari experience. The day begins with a hot drink overlooking the expansive Kwando floodplain that stretches out beyond you. Guests then board the boats that are packed with lunch and cold beverages and steered by an experienced guide. The boats head towards the main area of the Kwando where the guides will locate a promising bend or head to quiet backwaters for bream. The experience begins from the moment guests are on the river, right until the roar of the boats’ motors calm and the first lure and fly are cast into the waters.
After a satisfying morning on the river, groups can either return to the camp for brunch and a dreamy nap, or enjoy an entire day on the boat, exploring the untouched beauty and sporty fishing that this location has to offer. Finally, groups return to the camp before sundown and rinse off the day’s adventure under hot high pressure showers before enjoying dinner under the illuminated African night sky.
The four night Kwando tiger fishing safari includes accommodation (single or sharing), all meals, hot beverages and filtered water, laundry, unlimited guided fishing and unlimited fuel and tackle, with the use of four boats.
