Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park Desert Safari
Where arid savannah and desert scrublands meet, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park features wonders of the animal kingdom and unadulterated starry night skies.
Here, in the North Western part of South Africa and Botswana, the famous black-maned Kalahari lion roams. They’re known to be taller, stand prouder, and are of a more attractive aesthetic than other lions. Yet, they don’t live in isolation – this is a hub of unique flora and fauna. Spot gemsbok, cheetah, leopar, red hartebeest, springbok, hyena, and jackal in this savannah. For birdwatching enthusiasts, too, endemic species flourish here. At night, you’ll be treated to unparalleled star-scapes – haven for star trail photographers.
