This 7-day safari is designed for those for those who want to explore Kruger National Park in depth — not just ticking off the Big 5, but spending unhurried days immersed in the bush. You’ll stay at three different rest camps, each offering access to a new region, a fresh perspective, and diverse wildlife. From early morning game drives and golden-hour sightings to a thrilling night drive, this safari lets you travel deeper and see more of what Kruger has to offer.
It’s about variety, connection, and having the time to truly experience one of Africa’s greatest wilderness areas.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Game Drive
We’ll collect you from KMIA (Nelspruit Airport), Skukuza Airport, or your accommodation in Nelspruit, White River, Malelane, Hazyview, or Komatipoort. Once inside Kruger, the game viewing begins.
Enjoy a relaxed transfer to your first rest camp, checking in and heading straight out on an afternoon game drive to start your journey into the wild.
Day 2: Sunrise Safari & Flexible Midday
Start your day with a sunrise game drive — a magical time when big cats are still active and the bush comes to life.
Choose between:
- A full-day safari, stopping for meals at rest camps or picnic sites
- Returning to camp for a midday break, then heading out again for an afternoon drive
Every drive is shaped by what’s happening in the park — your guide will help maximise each moment.
Day 3: Camp Transfer – New Landscapes, New Sightings
Today we move to your second camp, travelling through different terrain en route and game viewing along the way. You’ll enjoy breakfast at a scenic stop, and keep scanning the bush as you make your way to a new part of Kruger. After settling in, enjoy another afternoon game drive from your new base.
Day 4: Sunrise Safari & Night Drive
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive to explore your new region and track more of the Big 5.
Then choose:
- A full-day safari, covering more ground
- Take a midday break and enjoy some rest before the evening adventure
That evening, you’ll head out on a SANParks-operated Night Drive, led by park rangers. It’s a rare opportunity to spot nocturnal species – hyenas, civets, owls, and even predators hunting after dark.
Day 5: Transfer to Third Camp
After an early morning departure, we continue the adventure as you move to your third and final camp. Enjoy breakfast along the way and keep your eyes open for fresh sightings as you travel through new parts of the park.
Arrive at your final base and head out for another afternoon game drive to round off the day.
Day 6: Final Full Day of Exploration
Your last full day on safari — and the perfect chance to go all in. Choose a full-day game drive to explore far and wide, or split the day into morning and afternoon drives with time to relax at camp in between.
This is your moment to revisit favourite sightings or tick off those last few species.
Day 7: Sunrise Drive & Departure
One last early morning drive, soaking in the quiet of the bush and the beauty of the park as it wakes. After breakfast at camp, we’ll transfer you back to KMIA, Skukuza, or your preferred drop-off location.

Pickup Options

- Optional (Extra Cost): Transfers from Johannesburg can be arranged by road or air. *Flying into KMIA or Skukuza is the most time-efficient option.*
Game Drives & Wildlife Viewing
All drives are conducted in open safari vehicles, led by experienced, passionate guides.
Game viewing begins the moment we enter Kruger and continues until we exit.
This safari includes morning and afternoon drives, plus one guided night drive, giving you full exposure to both daytime and nocturnal wildlife.
