Tigers and Wildlife of Bandhavgarh and Kanha Safari
This 10-day tiger safari and tour is a trip on the wild side that you can’t pass up! Exploring Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha Tiger Reserve is like entering a world where adventure meets dreams. In India, this is where the highest known densities of tiger populations can be found.
Tread this ancient land with these spirited creatures and feel the ancient past meet the present as you gaze into the eyes of tigers and other fascinating wildlife species in their natural habitat. It’s in this forest that prominent tigers were born and have lived. Those tigers, like Charger and Sita, are stars in their own right, with National Geographic documentaries based on their lives and behaviours.
It’s a place teeming with wildlife that have lived alongside this civilisation that’s as old as time. In the evergreen forests of Kanha, you’ll find other big cats in tiger territory, like the Indian leopard and other jungle cats. There are also jackals, sloth bears, wild dogs (Indian Dhole) to be seen, as well as Gaur (bison), Nilgai (blue bull), and both spotted and barking deer. With over 250 species of birds, too, keep your eyes open for eagles and Indian vultures. You might even be fortunate enough to set your eyes on the endangered swamp deer, known as Barasingha.
