Itinerary

Transfer from Cuiabá to Pantanal lodge

Departure from Cuiabá, early in the morning, to the Pantanal region. On the way, we pass through the gateway to the northern Pantanal, through the city of Poconé. At this point, we immediately embark on a journey across Transpantaneira highway. This includes several stops to observe the abundant wildlife and capture them through photography. After arriving at your lodge, we’ll check-in and enjoy lunch. It’s then time to explore the lodge’s surroundings by boat, or mounted on horseback (the choice is yours). Dinner and an overnight stay follows.

Lodge to Port Jofre by Panoramic Boat

After enjoying an early breakfast, we drive down the Transpantaneira highway to its end, a place called Porto Jofre. Here, we check in to a boat-hotel or land-hotel, in the vicinity of the Meeting of the Waters State Park. After lunch, we go out in search of jaguars by boat, spotting other wildlife like giant river otters, capybaras, caimans, iguanas, and a variety of bird species. It’s a photographer’s haven, ending with the Pantanal’s famous blood-red and vanilla-golden sunset sky.

Jaguar & Wildlife Expedition

Breakfast is followed by a boat trip. Explore this remote region of the world, looking out for the wondrous wildlife and stunning natural features. Lunch is followed by the continued search for jaguars and other fascinating wildlife species, until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay follows.
